eDEX - Web3 Trading Platform & UX UI Dashboard Design
eDEX: A Web3 Trading Platform
🎯 What Was the Problem?
Imagine dipping your toes into Web3 for the first time. You’re curious, maybe even excited… until you land on a decentralized exchange (DEX) dashboard that looks like the cockpit of a spaceship. Buttons everywhere. Charts doing acrobatics. Wallets, gas fees, bridging, staking. What even is this sorcery?
Most new users feel overwhelmed. Even seasoned traders find DEXs unintuitive. And that’s a problem. Because while Web3 is supposed to empower users, most platforms make you feel like you need a PhD in blockchain to click a button.
So, our mission with eDEX was crystal clear:
Build a powerful Web3 trading platform that doesn’t feel like punishment to use.

What Did I Do?
As the product designer, I joined forces with developers and strategists to rethink the DEX experience from the ground up. Here’s what we tackled:
Designed a sleek UI inspired by Web3 aesthetics think dark mode with neon accents (because yes, vibes matter).
Streamlined the UX so users could go from “What the heck is a liquidity pool?” to “I’m yield farming like a pro” in minutes.
Integrated multiple complex features spot trading, perpetuals, staking, bridging, liquidity providing into a cohesive, intuitive interface.
Optimized for all screens, so whether you’re on your laptop or your couch with a phone, the experience is smooth and delightful.

What Were the Challenges?
Every hero’s journey has monsters to slay. Ours looked like this:
1. Balancing Power and Simplicity
Web3 users want robust features, but they don’t want to feel like they’re flying a fighter jet. We had to simplify without dumbing things down.

2. Earning Trust in a Trustless World
Decentralization is great, but without traditional support systems, users need visual cues, confirmations, and transparency to feel secure. Our solution? Clear flows, transparent fees, and no hidden surprises.

3. Designing for Mobile Without Losing Sanity
DEXs are notoriously desktop-first. We flipped the script and made sure eDEX looked and worked beautifully across devices. Tiny screens, big functionality.

The Result
eDEX became what we envisioned:
A Web3 trading platform that feels modern, friendly, and powerful.
Users can now explore advanced DeFi actions without breaking a sweat or Googling every second term. It's clean, fast, and genuinely fun to use. And let’s be honest, “fun” isn’t a word you hear often in crypto UX.
